The Flint Energies/FFA Wiring Contest provides opportunities for FFA members to demonstrate their skills in electrical wiring, critical thinking, and communications. Scholarships and/or plaques are awarded as prizes. The electric membership corporations throughout Georgia sponsor these activities as a means of promoting education and the safe, efficient use of electrical energy.

Who can participate?

Any active FFA member who is in grade 10, 11, or 12 in the State of Georgia is eligible to participate in this activity. Each chapter is limited to one contestant per contest. The top two individuals in the area contest may participate in the state contest during the same year, however, students who have participated in the state contest once are ineligible to participate again.

How can I participate?

Interested students should contact the FFA Coordinator or Agricultural Teachers at their High School.

For more information, Ag and FFA Coordinators can contact Matt Denton, Flint Energies Agricultural Specialist, at 478-218-5606 or mdenton@flintemc.com.
