For the past 20 years, Flint Energies has been proud to invest in one of our community's greatest resources—our teachers.

Through the Bright Ideas Teacher Grant Program, educators have transformed creative ideas into meaningful classroom experiences, giving students opportunities to learn in exciting and innovative ways. From hands-on STEM projects and outdoor learning spaces to literacy initiatives, technology, arts education, and career exploration, Bright Ideas grants have helped thousands of students benefit from lessons that might not have been possible otherwise.

This year, we're celebrating two decades of supporting educators who go above and beyond for their students.

Every teacher has that lesson they've always wanted to try—the one that would truly engage students and create lasting memories—but sometimes funding stands in the way.

That's where the Bright Ideas Teacher Grant Program comes in.

Teachers can apply for grants of up to $2,000 to fund innovative classroom projects that inspire students and enhance learning. The program encourages educators to think creatively and design experiences that make education more engaging, interactive, and impactful.

Whether it's building robots, creating school gardens, launching reading initiatives, purchasing science equipment, or bringing history to life through immersive projects, Bright Ideas helps turn imagination into action.

Application Deadlines:

  • Early Bird Deadline: September 4

  • Final Application Deadline: September 18

Submitting your application early gives you the opportunity to be considered during the Early Bird period, so don't wait until the last minute!
