The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated events in Crawford County. JugFest returns on Saturday, May 18, and promises a day filled with festivities, history, and community spirit.

Organized jointly by the Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce and the Crawford County Historical Society, JugFest has become a beloved tradition, marking its 19th year of celebration. What began as the Little Brown Jug Festival, focused primarily on pottery, has evolved into JugFest, a fun-filled festival rich with the county’s heritage.

Kicking off bright and early at 7:30 a.m., participants can lace up their running shoes and join the 5K or one-mile fun run. Then, at 9 a.m., the festivities begin in Knoxville, where artisans, food vendors, and crafters will offer a variety of pottery, goods, and treats. Families can delight in various activities tailored to the whole family, including music performances, food trucks, a pottery auction, a cornhole tournament, and much more. There's no shortage of entertainment throughout the day.

Midafternoon everyone will enjoy an exciting soapbox derby, then the festivities will move to downtown Roberta around 4:30 p.m., where the soapbox derby winners will receive trophies, followed by an evening affair in downtown Roberta. New to JugFest this year, visitors will enjoy fabulous food, music, and entertainment, as the family fun continues into the evening.
