Reliable electricity is at the heart of what Flint Energies does, but our role in the communities we serve goes beyond delivering power.
Flint Energies works alongside economic development organizations, chambers, community leaders and local partners to help communities prepare for growth and attract new opportunities. We’re also investing in programs that support students, teachers, nonprofits, families and communities throughout our service territory.
From community grants and Operation Round Up to youth leadership programs, educational initiatives and member advocacy, these efforts reflect an important part of the cooperative difference.
Preparing for the Future
The electric industry is changing quickly, and Flint Energies is preparing for what comes next.
Increasing electricity demand, new technologies, infrastructure needs and changing member expectations all require thoughtful, long-term planning. The goal is to balance reliability, affordability and innovation while continuing to make decisions with our member-owners in mind.
The Cooperative Difference
At its heart, Flint Energies is a cooperative — and that means our members are more than customers. They are member-owners.
That cooperative difference shapes how we think about investments, community partnerships and the future. Every decision ultimately comes back to one question: How does this benefit the members and communities we serve?
